Our President, Rev. Dr. Owen Gordon, graduated from JBC
in 1972, and he was invited by the administration as lecturer in Homiletics and Pastoral Theology in 1974. He pastors the Salem Church
of the United Brethren in Christ in New Green and serves as a district superintendent in the denomination. Dr. Gordon is very active in the gospel and in the community, serving as a member of the Chamber of Commerce,
vice chairman of Mandeville Ministers Fraternal, chairman of the Mandeville Association of Mediators, Justice of the Peace,
chaplain for Lay Magistrate Association. In addition, he serves on a Caribbean
educational board as well as a trustee of Huntington College
in the USA.
