DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY APPLICANTS
 
Applicants for the Diploma in Theology must have a minimum of five subjects including English Language at the General Certificatre of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level at grade C or above, or the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) at grade III or above (grade III after 1998) and Successful Interview.
 
DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY TARGET GROUP
  • Persons who are serving in the pastoral ministry with no formal training
  • Persons who desire to serve in various areas of Christian Ministry
  • Persons who have been serving in the the laity and desire to be upgraded
  • Persons wanting to establish a theological foundation to facilitate spiritual formation

TRANSFER OF CREDITS AND COURSE EXEMPTIONS
 
A transfer of credits or course exemption may be awarded to a student on the basis of academic achievement earned at another approved educational institution.  This, however, is subect to the judgment of the Academic Committee.
 
Transfer of credits will be done on a case-by-case basis in veiw of the following considerations:
  • The educational quality of the instituions from which the student transfers
  • The compatability of the nature, content, and level of credit earned to the that offered by the College
  • The course must be completed with at least a Grade Point Average of 3.0
  • The student must have satisfied the necessary prerequisites for the programme
  • Not more than 50% of the credits required for a proamme may be transferred into that programme

Requests for transfer of credits must be done in writing.  Furthermore, it will be the student's responsiblity to provide original certified transcripts and course outlines to assist in the determination of course equivalence.

Note:  Credits granted on a transfer basis will appear in the student's academic record as Transfer Credits with no grade or grade point value
