THE DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY

The Diploma in Theology is a three-year accredited programme, which is designed for students who need an accurate, foundational knowledge of the biblical/theological content of their faith and the practical skills necessary to function in Christian ministries. It is an excellent program for those who are desirous of serving effectively in the pastoral ministry and other theology-related disciplines.

ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN BUSINESS STUDIES

The purpose of the two-year accredited programme is to equip our students with requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to secure employment in the modern economy or further their studies.

The programme has a triple certification component. Students not only receive an Associate Degree, but also a HEART NCTVET certificate for one of the Courses and students have the option of sitting some modules in the ACCA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) examination as they progress through the course.

Work experience, work-study options and extra curricular activities also form part of the rich educational experience that JBC&CI offers.

Admissions Requirement:

Applicants should have a minimum of five subjects including English Language and one business subject in GCE O’Level or CXC at the General level.

Students are required to complete at least seven courses each semester with three (3) credits being awarded for each course.

Certificate in Ministry

The Certificate in Ministry programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to function effectively in various areas of Christian ministries.

In addition to emphasizing profound theological content, the context is created to facilitate growth in Christian character, wisdom, integrity, social awareness, leadership and responsibility.

Practical instructional methods are used to ensure that students transfer the knowledge they acquire to ministry. The program is completed one year full-time and two years part-time. The program is consisted of 34 credit hours.
